Quo Vadis Singapore

Lawrence Wong became prime minister with excellent credentials but in a shori time Singapore deenerated into a comical circus. Let's start with the controversal unmasking of NRIC identity. It is obvious that the Government had mismanaged this issue and is in danger of losing crediibility struggling to retrieve the situation. They appointed   Ministers Josephine Teo and Indranee Rajah  to assuage the people by making road-side story-telling. But out of the blue emerged three national heroes Terry Xu, PJ Thum and Sean Francis Han who put a fib to their story. tt's a matter of perception of who to believe. This has bec ome a zugzwang to the PAP and as the Chinese saying goes: The people's eyes are crystal clear. The three heroes will remain their nemesis for a long time to come. In the meantime PAP has very wisely admitted their mistake and apologised. Next we have the most outlandish behaviour of Minister Desmond Lee who refused to meet his constituents as their MP who...

A birdeyes-view of the general election 2025

The general election 2025 will take place by end of November 2025. So it piques the political parties to start a universal campaigne to entice the loyalties of the electors to vote for them in the GE. Quite naturally the PAP with its resources lost no time in the electioneering in pre-empting the opposition by sending their potential candidates to visit voters to endear themselves with them to vote for the PAP.  They are definitely in an advantage over the opposition in the bras de fer for votes and would likely romp home  quite easily. Needless to say this is going to be a zugzwang to the opposition and whatever they think it will definitely affect their chances of deminishing the votes of PAP.  PM Lawrence Wong expressed fear that the opposition may dislodge the PAP in the GE but he really said it with the tongue -in-cheek and within him he was never so sure of retaining power. This was his hypocrity in display. It was definitely a scare tactic to frighten the vot...

A foresight of budget 2025

I would like to wipe out the mocking smirk from the visage of the hypocritical PM Lawrence Wong. As is the custom the Government has invited proposals from the public to give an embellishment to the budget. Is this doe with an earnest honesty of the unfathomable PM Lawrence Wong? Let's talk about the obscene astronomical ministerial salaries which he may find a perpetual mortifying headache that haunts him from time to time..because he is obviously embedded with greed which blinded him so deeply that he is unable to perceive the avalanch of demand from the public .Is this what made him to think of himself as a people's prime minister or a caricature of it? You must be insane to equate you with the American President by paying yourself an your avaricious minister from the people's money no less than four times the salary of the American President in terms of importance and vastness of territory. How you and your avaricious ministers cab pocket millions of people's money ...
