Budget 2025

 May I make some interesting comment on my artiicle on Bhdger 2025 in Chinese to enlighten non-Chinese speaking readers.

PM Lawrence Wong was simply marvellous  and outstanding in his humanity in his Budget 2025 which provide such substantial succour to Singaporeans to overcome core inflation and high cost of living among others that it must be flattering to him receive such high accolades for his benevolence. It must be a feather in his cap. Do you think there this is all altruistic and no subtle aberrations of any kind?

Do you think that the obscene astronimical ministerial salaries deserve mention in the Budget? The salaries are drawn from public coffers and cannot be unconnected with the Budget. Was it an amnesia or oversight?  Was it intentional to avoid public scrutiny?  You guess is as good as mine but there is a Chinese saying : Each person has his own intelligence (人各有智).. This is people's hard -earned money and by any conscience must be used for the benefit of the people and not to be pocketed for personal enrichment.You think God will countenance such plundering of people.s wealth?  Will retribution be a matter of time?  The Chinese saying:  Heaven's net is vast and does not leak (天网灰灰  疏而不漏).

Do you PM Lawrence Wong and your avaricious ministers know the real meaning of serving the people? It is not pocketing millions of their money to provide them  so-called golden public service? You and your minister may know but may pretend not to. This is a case of one of the highest self-sacrifice to his people. This happened in our neighbouring Malaysia. Malaysia is poorer than Singapore and Ibrahim Anwar is not as rich as you yet would it not amaze you that he serves his people pro-bono which means he does it free and not receiving any salary. May I ask PM Lawrence Wong if he can make the same sacrifice and serve Singaporeans pro-bono? Not on your life would you do it even if you can but you just do not have PM Anwar's superlative character .You would rather go on pocketing millions of people's money.even if it means facing the wrath of the people.

A fragrant name that remains for ten generations or a name that is highly putrified and bad smelling for ten thousand years （名传百世  遗臭万年).. Which would you choose? If you choose former you should wake up and take action post haste to reduce the obscene astronimcal ministerial salaries to the level of that of the American President.

A penny for your thought

 My dear high and mighty PM Lawrence Wong. A penny for your thought. May I have the honour to ask you a simple question that is boggling the mind of the Singapore public? Would you be so kind as to give us a clear explanarion why is it you and your avaricious ministers need such obscene astronomical salaries to perform so-called golden public service to the people of Singapore. What is the criterior that you need more than our times the salary of the American President to serve Singapore? Is it that you insanely insists that Singapore is four times more important and larger than America and volume of service more complex and higher US? A birdeyes-view of the general election 2025

 The general election 2025 will take place by end of November 2025. So it piques the political parties to start a universal campaigne to entice the loyalties of the electors to vote for them in the GE. Quite naturally the PAP with its resources lost no time in the electioneering in pre-empting the opposition by sending their potential candidates to visit voters to endear themselves with them to vote for the PAP.  They are definitely in an advantage over the opposition in the bras de fer for votes and would likely romp home  quite easily. Needless to say this is going to be a zugzwang to the opposition and whatever they think it will definitely affect their chances of deminishing the votes of PAP.  PM Lawrence Wong expressed fear that the opposition may dislodge the PAP in the GE but he really said it with the tongue -in-cheek and within him he was never so sure of retaining power.
