A foresight of the PAP prospect in GE 2025
The PAP Biennial Conference was so absurbly ludricrous for its wholesale blustering among its leaders and members on the party prospect in the next general election. There is obviously an undercurrent of fear that the opposition will capture power and dislodge the PAP from the government. Is that possible? There is no doubt that the opposition is burgeoning in its invincibility but may not be powerful enough to capture.power. The more relevan trepidation may be the out-of-control cost of living arising from global inflation. What do we have in the opposition? Pritam Singh is a dead duck and may even cause the downfall of the Workers' Party. The saviour is left to the Progress Singapore Party (PSP) under the leadership of Dr Tan Cheng Bock provided he is able to muster sufficient pugnacious candidates of the calibre of Leong Mun Wai. Dr. Tan Cheng Bock is more honest than Lee Kuan Yew who is really a scroundrel. So is Lee Hsien Loong and simply ask Lee Hsien Yang for his opinion of his elder briother. It is reported that Lee Hsien Loong received overwhleming tributes at the PAP Biennial Conference. How do you look at ownself praising ownself?
Lee Hsien Loong is a passe and how he could contribute to the Party only the bequilled PM Lawrence Wong would know. He shows animated ability in his performance but is in a state of flux finding a niche and it was pity that the crafty PM Lawrence Wong who placed him in temporary positions where he could be of some use. Lawrence Wong is a crafty old hand in intrigue and is just waiting for Lee Hsien Loong to outlive his usefullness. So his destiny is really in the hands of Lawrence Wong.
Coming back to the trepidation of PAP leaders on their prospect in the GE2025 the scare tactic is may be for the consumption of hoodwinked Singaporeans to vote for them .But PM Lawrence Wong is doing a consummate roadshow story-teller that he convinced himself that he will be able to hoodwink the voters to vote for PAP. The PSP is the more formidable contender but may be lacking in pugnacious candidates. I think there is definitely a potent sign of pro-opposition sentiment among the public but the one million dollar question is whether they are formidable enough to upset the PAP at the polls. I think it depends on the Almighty God who is the darling of fate.
