Budget 2025

 My dear honourable PM Lawrence Wong. 

You are indeed a great saviour of the distressed people in your Budget 2925 which provide the succourt to the people to overcome the hardship threatening their livelihood under the core inflation and high cost of living that now envelope Singapore and the world. But in the embrace of this euphoria there may be a subtle implication that may have been pre-empted whether intentionally is uncertain..Why was the obscene astronomical ministerial salaries omitted from the budget.? Is it not important  enough to deserve mention in the budget? 

I do not wish to mortify PM Lawrence Wong on this delicate matter. So may I suggest we discuss it as a matter of discourse so as to avoid any emotional  disharmony. May I ask whether  you think it's your and your ministers birthtright to pocket such enormous amount of people's money to enrich yourselves? You are drawing more than four times the salary of the American President what kind of golden service you and your ministers are providing the people that require such hugh renumerations? Do you really regard Singapore as more important and larger than the American continent?

The money in the people's coffers belongs to the people and should be used for the people's benefits  and not to be plundered to enrich any officials. The budget 2025 if you examine closely is really ephmeral and is a pittance to what you and your ministers are pocketing from the people's coffers. Don't you think you are diverting the people's scrutiny from your voracity for greed at the people's expense and is this the kind of golden public service you reward them for this hugh pocketing of people's money? When do you think you have pocketed enough and are ready to curtail your venal wealth.? It's both up to you and whether  you want to be known as an eminent people's prime minister.

 My dear high and mighty PM Lawrence Wong. A penny for your thought. May I have the honour to ask you a simple question that is boggling the mind of the Singapore public? Would you be so kind as to give us a clear explanarion why is it you and your avaricious ministers need such obscene astronomical salaries to perform so-called golden public service to the people of Singapore. What is the criterior that you need more than our times the salary of the American President to serve Singapore? A birdeyes-view of the general election 2025

 The general election 2025 will take place by end of November 2025. So it piques the political parties to start a universal campaigne to entice the loyalties of the electors to vote for them in the GE. Quite naturally the PAP with its resources lost no time in the electioneering in pre-empting the opposition by sending their potential candidates to visit voters to endear themselves with them to vote for the PAP.  They are definitely in an advantage over the opposition in the bras de fer for votes and would likely romp home  quite easily. Needless to say this is going to be a zugzwang to the opposition and whatever they think it will definitely affect their chances of deminishing the votes of PAP.  PM Lawrence Wong expressed fear that the opposition may dislodge the PAP in the GE but he really said it with the tongue -in-cheek and within him he was never so sure of retaining power.
