A holistic view of Singapore future landscape

 I asked my friend Tan Chee Chye for his opinion on the reticence of PM  Lawrence Wong to my continuous assault on the political standing of PAP. His answer was quite simple. They do not think their electorial votes will be affected and consider it as just wasting time. I think it's a valid point and how it could have eluded me is something I am unable to fathom.and cannot be overlooked. 

We chatted about the obscene astronomical ministerial salaries and he thinks that the obscene stipends are jutified in view of the favourable economic conditions. Comparing their pay with the American President's may not be congruous as the latter's as President is enntitled to ennormous additioonal benefits that dwarf his modest salary. I pooh-poohed that and said that that is America. Singapore's prime minieter and ministers enjoyed high bonuses that are unimaginable. My frien Tan Chee Chye being a businessman, like many businessmen, is obviously pro-PAP and ironically it makes us a contrasting companionship,It's inrriguing and mind-boggling because it enables us to spar so amusingly like two gladiators.

Honest politicians entering politics are those who really want to serve the people. Are this bunch of PAP prime minister and ministers with probity to serve the people when they amassed the people's blood and sweat to enrich themselves. The live in luxury while the people are facing severe hardships going through core inflation and high cost of living. What Lawrence Wong provides as succour is from the people's money and is ephemera and barely enough for them to survive. Thy cannot take the money with them to their graves and what do they want to do with so much money? What they amassed could last them for more than three generations living in luxury and still with a colossal amount left. Do they really believe that a human being will have the conscience to do that?

I tackled Chee Chye on the superb benevolent and humanitarian character of the Malaysia prime minister Anwar Ibrahim who provides public service to his people with salary (pro bono). He said that Anwar did that because he wants to redeem what he had suffered in his incarceration under previous wicked government. I told him that his thinking is far fetched. Lawrence Wong is better off than Anwar both financially and intellectually and he can easily follow the footstep of Anwar in proving pro bono public service to the people of Singapore. But his character is so low-down compared to Anwar that he will never do it even if he has to suck the ass of Anwar. 

What will be the future polilitcal landscape of Singapore.? Why do you thnik that God is so magnanimous in foisting this jester Lawrence Wong on us as prime minister?  He must have thought that this would be a great joke that Singaporeans would enjoy. This will be the future political landscape of Singapore. What do we have to make a change for a better future?  Pritam Singh? You think with his tattered character flaw he could lead?  Dr. Tan Cheng Bok may be the saviour but he is over the hill and maybe hsis spirit is willing but his flesh is weak. He could make a great dent on the PAP if he could get sufficient candidates of the calibre of Leong Mun Wai. You need a dynamic personality like the late Lim Chin Siong to do the putsh but he is now a legend. Lawrence Wong may mutate to something more savoury over time or may not and it may be interminable before a saviour will rear his winsome face.
