Your sovereign Lawrence Wong
My dear sovereign Lawrence Wong,
Do you think I qualify to be the king slayer? No doubt it's up to God if the time is right and am tasked to do the job.
Anyway the time has not yet come and you can continue to amass the people's wealth until you think you are satiated. But will you heed the Chinese saying: To stop before going too far (适可而止)
Let's enjoy the celetial atmosphere for a llittle while. There is something that puzzles the public which you may provide the answer. What do you and your ministers want to do with such a large of money when you cannot take it with you to your graves like the late David Marshall had said. You can live for more than three generations in luxury and still have a large amount left. This is the people's hard-earned blood and sweat money (血汗钱)and you rally have the heart to pocket it really takes the cake. You really do not know what and how the money can help them overcome the hardship of core inflation and high cost of living? What succour you can provide them is ephemeral and they go back to square one after it ends. The god-like Malaysia PM Anwar Ibrahim shining example of pro bono service to his people is something that you do not follow in his foot-step at your peril. You want to go down in history in glory for generations like him?
Do you know why I am acting so undiplomatically? I told you I am tasked by God to do some rectification to your esteemed self and the reduction of the obscene astronomical ministerial salaries. But I am afraid I find you so unbending that I may not be able to progress in my mission. I have done my best and if there is anyone who can do better please come forward. The solution now seems to be in the hands of the people who can vote in a team with better integrity but may not have sufficient suitable candidates to counter the PAP. You need a dynamic personality like Lim Chin Siong but he is now a legend.
I do not think I will be around to see any new change. So good luck Singapore and may God bless you.
God may yet rescue Singapore and you just keep your fingers crossed.
Yoong Siew Wah
