 My dear high and mighty PM Lawrence Wong.

A penny for your thought. May I have the honour to ask you a simple question that is boggling the mind of the Singapore public? Would you be so kind as to give us a clear explanarion why is it you and your avaricious ministers need such obscene astronomical salaries to perform so-called golden public service to the people of Singapore. What is the criterior that you need more than our times the salary of the American President to serve Singapore? Is it that you insanely insists that Singapore is four times more important and larger than America and volume of service more complex and higher US? Are you sure you are not talking from a mental asylum? 

The money that you and your ministers are amssing from the people is their blood and sweat money which should go for the enhancement of their welfare and livelihood facing core inflation and high cost of living while you and your ministers are living in luxury at their expense. Is this what you call a democratic and egalitarian society?

You and your ministers are able to sit on your fat asses today and enjoy amassing people's wealth and luxurious living is not something from heaven but sacrifices made by my humble self and colleagues in risking our lives by fighting the Communists on the front line to save Singapore from communism. We were prime targets for assasination by communist killer squad  almost everyday. When we left our homes in the morning for work they would descend on us like a fanthom and before you could say ah they bumped two bullets in you althought you were armed. This happened to a CID detective Seet Chong Yee but he survived but not others like him.The baptism of fire that we went through even Lee Kuan Yew's looked pale in comparison. You  and your ministers are able to enjoy a luxurious life while the people have to undergo hardships in the livelihood. Do you think God made you and your cohorts his darling of fate (天之骄子）？

If I had succumbed to the CIA  to become their intelligence agent in 1961 do you think Singapore would still be like what it is today? Will Lee Kuan Yew be able to propel his world policitcal standing to a dizzying height and browbeat the American President extorting USD30 million from him? His biggest fear was that I would steal the thunder from him so he prevented my name from the public and the world.I live on a poverty pension and when I asked Lee Hsien Loong for a small raise for me and other similar pensioners of my era (a very small number) we were told we had served our purpose  what we got was enough and they were waiting for us to die. And Lee Hsien Loong and his cohorts were pocketing millions of people's money. You think they are human beings?

The noises on he ground do not sound like music to your ears. So you are holding back the date for the general election. I still think the opposition is not solidly united  and you may come off with fewer losses than would otherwise be the case. The obscene salaries are still your Achilles heel but whether  the opposition will capitalise on it will be intriguing.

A birdeyes-view of the general election 2025

 The general election 2025 will take place by end of November 2025. So it piques the political parties to start a universal campaigne to entice the loyalties of the electors to vote for them in the GE. Quite naturally the PAP with its resources lost no time in the electioneering in pre-empting the opposition by sending their potential candidates to visit voters to endear themselves with them to vote for the PAP.  They are definitely in an advantage over the opposition in the bras de fer for votes and would likely romp home  quite easily. Needless to say this is going to be a zugzwang to the opposition and whatever they think it will definitely affect their chances of deminishing the votes of PAP.  PM Lawrence Wong expressed fear that the opposition may dislodge the PAP in the GE but he really said it with the tongue -in-cheek and within him he was never so sure of retaining power.
