a humoristic comprehension of the husting

 The dust has settled and the PAP has achieved a strong mandate to govern for the next five years. It will be interesting to reminisce the punitory battle of mind for the heart and mind of the electorate. The v enal and hypocritical Lawrence Wong displayed his ordinary oratorical skill in his sermon to mesmerize the voters. Pritam Singh was superb in his forceful eloquent assertiveness which badly rattled the hysterical Lawrence Wong into a heart-rending fear of losing three or four minister which fortunately did not happen. By Pritam Singh's performance the Worker's Party should have captured more than ten seats but apparently fate was not on its side. Pritam Singh was indeed the star of the husting and he would receive the respect of Lawrence Wong in or out of Parliament.

By all accounts Gan Kim Yong should have been dislodged by WP Prapreet Singh but fate was on his side and Prapreet Singh was slightly over-hyped.

Progress Singapore Party was a great disappointment. Tan Cheng Bock although had great spirit but he was long in his tooth and was willing in spirit but weak in flesh. PSP has become irrelevant and what will be its future?

So we will watch Lawrence Wong in his performance for the next five years. Will he improve on his image of venality and hypocritical will be a matter that will stmulate the mind of the people of Singapore.

 My dear high and mighty PM Lawrence Wong. A penny for your thought. May I have the honour to ask you a simple question that is boggling the mind of the Singapore public? Would you be so kind as to give us a clear explanarion why is it you and your avaricious ministers need such obscene astronomical salaries to perform so-called golden public service to the people of Singapore. A birdeyes-view of the general election 2025

 The general election 2025 will take place by end of November 2025. So it piques the political parties to start a universal campaigne to entice the loyalties of the electors to vote for them in the GE. Quite naturally the PAP with its resources lost no time in the electioneering in pre-empting the opposition by sending their potential candidates to visit voters to endear themselves with them to vote for the PAP.  They are definitely in an advantage over the opposition in the bras de fer for votes and would likely romp home  quite easily.
