An earth-shattering speech

 PM Lawrence Wong's inspiratory speech at the swearing-in ceremony could be described as earth-shattering as it was intended to capture the whimsicle imagination of the public that he and his government was there to help them overcome a life-and-death struggle in their liveilihood..It's intersting that he mentioned the government was prepared to welcome criticsm as it enhances the government's thinking. Is he really serious or merely hypocritical true to his character? 

He can show his intirnsic sincerity by first allowing the Straits Times to disseminate opposition voices.Straits Times is heavily funded by the government and is openly known by the public as a PAP propaganda organ. People will believe your genuineness if you do that.

Next is your obscene astronomical ministerial salaries which you dis not mention. Do you honestly believe that  This is a fair?? cost to the public coffers? What kind of golden service you are providing that requires entitles you to receive four times the salary of the American Preisdent. Think again seriiously if here is a need to modify the ministerial salaries to a reasonable level like that of the American Preisdent.

You try to raise the hope of the public to a pinnacle level and  it's in your interest to fulfill the public expectation.

I have actually stopped writing but your pompous speech prompted me to comment on one or two significant aspects.

 My dear high and mighty PM Lawrence Wong. A penny for your thought. May I have the honour to ask you a simple question that is boggling the mind of the Singapore public? Would you be so kind as to give us a clear explanarion why is it you and your avaricious ministers need such obscene astronomical salaries to perform so-called golden public service to the people of Singapore. What is the criterior that you need more than our times the salary of the American President to serve Singapore? Is it that you insanely insists that Singapore is four times more important and larger than America and volume of service more complex and higher US? A birdeyes-view of the general election 2025

 The general election 2025 will take place by end of November 2025. So it piques the political parties to start a universal campaigne to entice the loyalties of the electors to vote for them in the GE. Quite naturally the PAP with its resources lost no time in the electioneering in pre-empting the opposition by sending their potential candidates to visit voters to endear themselves with them to vote for the PAP.  They are definitely in an advantage over the opposition in the bras de fer for votes and would likely romp home  quite easily.
